{"id":278,"date":"2024-05-28T15:03:00","date_gmt":"2024-05-28T15:03:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/cpforestal.domo.com.ar\/visits-to-a-forest-harvesting-operation%f0%9f%a6%ba%f0%9f%8c%b2\/"},"modified":"2024-12-05T18:24:09","modified_gmt":"2024-12-05T18:24:09","slug":"visits-to-a-forest-harvesting-operation%f0%9f%a6%ba%f0%9f%8c%b2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.forestalargentina.com.ar\/en\/visits-to-a-forest-harvesting-operation%f0%9f%a6%ba%f0%9f%8c%b2\/","title":{"rendered":"Visits to a Forest Harvesting operation\ud83e\uddba\ud83c\udf32."},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-color has-link-color has-medium-font-size wp-elements-63caeac8e002ef845091cfc45fc32720\" style=\"color:#365140\"><strong>Today we received students from the agronomy career of Universidad del Salvador (Pilar Campus), in a mechanized harvesting operation in La Blanca farm of <u>#ForestalArgentina<\/u>, in Virasoro, Province of Corrientes.<\/strong><\/h5>\n\n<p>Guided tours are part of the social engagement strategy with the company&#8217;s stakeholders, these instances allow visitors to learn about the way the company operates, the implementation of its sustainability policy, the implementation of good management practices and the commitments undertaken to achieve a socially and environmentally responsible management.<\/p>\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1600\" height=\"720\" src=\"https:\/\/www.forestalargentina.com.ar\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2024\/09\/ca92c063-8e9b-487a-8f2f-46a329f7706c.jpeg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-220\"\/><\/figure>\n\n<p>On this occasion, 10 students and 3 teachers had the opportunity to learn about one of the final stages of the production process of forest plantations, &#8220;mechanized harvesting&#8221;, which consists of the directed turning of trees, in this pine plantation, with specialized forestry machinery &#8220;Processors&#8221; that are in charge of outsourced service companies and supervised by direct employees of Forestal Argentina.\nThe purpose of harvesting is to supply the roundwood demands of the company&#8217;s different customers. <\/p>\n\n<p>This process is carried out under strict safety regulations.
