Forestal Argentina completed the surveillance audit of the FSC® forest management standard with satisfactory results, conducted between May 11 and 15 by the certifying body Preferred by Nature.
Over the course of five days, an auditing team carried out the external evaluation of our forest management practices, visiting different establishments and analyzing the processes linked to plantation management.
As a result of the audit, and although some findings were identified that will be addressed in accordance with established procedures, Forestal Argentina maintains its FSC® certification under license code FSC®-C007609.
The continuity of this certification represents a recognition of the work the company carries out to ensure responsible and sustainable forest management, considering environmental, social, and economic aspects in its operations.
The FSC® standard promotes responsible forest management practices aimed at conserving ecosystems, caring for natural resources, and generating benefits for the communities and people linked to the activity.
This audit process also constitutes an opportunity to review practices, identify opportunities for improvement, and continue strengthening management processes, in line with Forestal Argentina’s commitment to continuous improvement.
The outcome achieved was made possible thanks to the commitment and participation of the teams that accompanied the process throughout the week, contributing their knowledge and experience to demonstrate the work being carried out in each of the operations.
