Forestal Argentina participated in the 1st Foresto-Industrial Expo in Corrientes.

From June 26 to 28, Forestal Argentina took part in the 1st Foresto-Industrial Expo of Corrientes, a nationally and internationally recognized event held in the city of Ituzaingó, as part of the inauguration of the local Port and Industrial Park.

The exhibition, organized by the Government of the Province of Corrientes, brought together stakeholders from the public, private, and academic sectors with the goal of promoting growth in the forest-industry sector in the region. The inaugurated infrastructure represents a turning point for the province’s logistical development, strengthening its strategic position within the industry.

Forestal Argentina and Central Puerto actively participated with an institutional booth where various team members shared the company’s policies, sustainable practices, and strategic vision with the public. Additionally, the presence of Adrián Salvatore, president of Forestal Argentina, reinforced the company’s commitment to regional development and public-private collaboration.

In parallel, Forestal Argentina’s technical team was invited to present and moderate various panels at the event, contributing their expertise on the following key topics:

  • Challenges in the forestry sector: Paula Montenegro (Head of Certification) and Arturo Sandoval Saavedra (Forestry Director)
  • Post-harvest reforestation: Adrián Vogel (Deputy Manager of Silviculture and Heritage) and Carlos Stefan (Head of Silviculture – Río Uruguay)
  • Forest harvesting: Fernando Dalla Tea (Forestry Engineer) and Ezequiel Rossi (Head of Sales and Planning – Field)
  • Forest protection: Martín Spriegel (Head of Heritage)

The active and diverse participation of our professionals at this event reaffirms Forestal Argentina’s leadership in sustainable forest management, technical innovation, and regional commitment. The launch of the new port and industrial park aligns with Forestal Argentina’s strategic vision to promote an efficient, integrated forest value chain with a positive impact on the communities where we operate.
