Forestry Transporters Training Talks

Within the framework of the Training and Education Plan for indirect collaborators, and actions planned by the Carriers’ Sub-Committee, during the months of June and July, workshops were organized by the occupational hygiene, health and safety area and the certification and sustainability area, with the participation of more than 40 drivers in the Central and Coastal areas of the Uruguay River in the province of Corrientes.

These instances involved addressing the necessary requirements for the safe transport of forest loads, review of legal requirements, care for personal safety and the safety of third parties.

It was an opportunity to review the company’s prohibitions for entering the properties, such as: “Hunting and fishing, setting fires, throwing waste” among others, in addition to communicating the importance of minimizing the impacts generated during the circulation on rural public roads by reviewing defensive management practices, respecting the neighbors of the communities of influence of the operations.

These were profitable days motivating the participation of all the collaborators present, encouraging the exchange of experiences to strengthen the knowledge of good practices.
